Peter Thompson

The Scriptwriter
Peter Thompson

Peter explores how people understand their place in the world of work, and how individual stories, in contrast to the scripted narratives of business, can foster connection and inspire change. His background is in journalism, film making, the not-for-profit sector and social care.

He is the founder of Shedlight Productions which began with the idea of using film to create stories that could enlighten, explain, inspire and teach.

“Shedlight Productions was founded in 2007 and the story behind its inception is a blend of personal experience and ambition. I worked for several years in social care and then many more in journalism with the BBC. In the process I developed good storytelling skills and met some really remarkable people – so I put the two together and bingo – out popped Shedlight.”
